EPISODE SUMMARY - PART 1

On a small street at night, Jack and Carly are hiding themselves and waiting for time. During the day, they met at Cafe La Geen and talked about D-Wheel's thief group. There had been a lot of damage recently. Carly whispered Jack that after the WRGP was determined, demand of D-Wheels in the black market had been increasing. Thus, the security put a reward prize on any information about the thief group. Jack looked uncertain when Carly talked about the prize.

Therefore, Jack and Carly are hiding in a street and waiting for the D-Wheel thief group to show up. Not too long, a thief group consisting of 5 people appears. They break the glass into building, steal D-Wheels, and leave quickly. Carly can take many pictures of them. Meanwhile, Jack rides on his D-Wheel, following the thief group quickly.

The thieves are now on a high, and Jack is chasing after them on another higher highway. He yells at and tells them not to think that the brats who stole D-Wheels like them can run away from him. Jack jumps from another higher highway and chases the thieves. He isn't aware of any danger and even doesn't protect himself. [Syd], one of the thief group, calls Jack a fool, turns back, and aims his gun to him. His friend tells Syd to stop and moves his D-Wheel in front of Jack.

Syd fires, and a shot hits his friend's D-Wheel. His friend crashes and body falls off D-Wheel. Syd doesn't care about his friend at all and thinks that he is just trouble. Jack stops riding and quickly runs into the injured man. He asks him to hang on and questions why the man had to protect him. A security's car then arrives, and Ushio gets off the car.

Jack reports to Ushio that he got one thief here. Ushio looks at the injured man, calls him [Kazama], and runs into him with surprise. It appears that he knows Kazama well. Ushio looks mad and asks what Jack did. Jack looks confused. He doesn't understand what's going on and asks for explanation.

Kazama is later taken to the hospital. Ushio, Carly, Yusei, Crow, and Jack are also there. Ushio grabs Jack's collar and gets very angry at him. Because of Jack's fault, their long-time efforts became fruitless. Carly tries to explain Ushio that Jack has no idea that Kazama is a security spy for criminal investigation. Ushio releases Jack but still looks mad. Kazama is now in the operation room.

Ushio explains that Kazama is the top class D-Wheeler among the Duel Chasers. Kazama is the man who can't forgive anyone that steals D-Wheels which represent pride of D-Wheelers. He said that he would capture thieves by himself. Knowing danger, he still joined the thief group.

The light on the operation room is off, and Kazama is taken out to a private room. Everyone is now standing around his bed. Jack thinks about pride of duelists and looks at Kazama's deck. The top card on his deck is a synchro monster, Demon Chaos King. Jack takes it up and says that he would like to borrow it. Ushio asks what Jack plans to do with Kazama's card. Jack doesn't answer and walks to the door.

Carly asks Jack where he is going. Crow wonders whether Jack plans to go after the thief group. Standing at the door, Jack turns to his friends and stops them for interfering. He then walks away without listening to his friends. Even Yusei can't say anything but looks at Jack walking away.

To take care of this business by his own, Jack goes to the black market and tries to gather information about the thief group from a trader there. The trader asks what Jack plans to do if he knows their location. Jack says that he has a debt with them. The trader hears so and tells him to wait for a minute. He then gives Jack a card and says that this is special for him. Jack takes the card, thanks him, and leaves. The trader quickly makes a call to his friends.

Jack follows the direction in the card to where the thief group is supposed to be. He feels that it's strange. Following the map, the location should be right in front him. However, Jack walks pass several streets and finds a dead end. It is clearly a trap. Many men jump out and surround him as if they have expected. They have sticks as weapons. One begins to ask what Jack is sneaking around this place, and another warns Jack the former king not to stick his neck into others' business for his own sake.

The group starts to charge Jack, but Jack can take down them all. He has no business with small fishes like them and tell them to lead him to their boss. Without watching out, another man jumps down behind him and knocks him down by a stick. Jack collapses and loses consciousness completely.

Jack is later taken back to the hospital. He finally wakes up by calling of his friends. Carly, Ushio, Yusei, and Crow are around his bed. Crow yells at Jack and asks what Jack thought by approaching into the thief group alone like that. Carly begs Jack not to approach into danger. Jack with bandage around his head tells his friend that this is his own problem and it has nothing to deal with them.

Crow yells at him and argues that it does relate to everyone because they are all worried about him. Ushio tells Jack that he truly doesn't understand anything. Those people are not a normal thief group but a fearful criminal syndicate. Their boss named Syd is called to be a cruel guy who gets rid of anyone standing in his way.

Jack thinks about the moment when Kazama was taken down by Syd. He asks how Kazama is doing now. Ushio is afraid to say that Kazama hasn't gained his consciousness yet. Crow tells Jack that the security struggles hard to capture them and wonders how Jack alone can work on his own. Jack doesn't listen to Crow at all and walks out. Crow is about to stop him, but Yusei asks him to let Jack go. Crow is concerned, but Yusei says that it should be fine. He explains that Jack has something that he needs to take back. It's also something he has to take back by his own hands.

At that night, Jack turns back to the black market and faces the expected thief group leaving by a truck. The driver, [Gaz], stops suddenly as Jack is standing in his way. Jack thanks for what they did well to him this afternoon. A couple men jump off the truck and ask what Jack is talking. Jack walks into the driver seat, opens the door, grasps Gaz's cloth, and forces him to bring him to their hideout. Many lights then spot to Jack and the driver. Jack looks back and sees many bikes surrounding him.

They see that Jack hasn't hurt enough yet, get off their bikes, and run into Jack as a group. Jack charges back and knocks down a couple of them. However, he is then knocked by a stick on his back head. Many men take this chance to kick him laying on the floor. They are done after seeing that Jack's consciousness is gone. Jack is now a mere trash for them. They then get on their rides and leave. Jack later tries to hold himself up.

In a factory at the seaport, the thief group is gathering while there are some stolen stuffs transferred on a conveyor belt. Gaz is afraid that it's time to say goodbye to this town. The leader, Syd, is sitting on a chair. He thinks that it can't be helped to leave the town because this factory was almost caught by a spy from the security. Suddenly, a man is knocked out, and Jack appears with his Wheel of Fortune at a window. He tells the thief that they could come only this far.

Syd is surprised by seeing Jack while the others doubt how Jack knows about this place. Jack answers that Gaz truly leaded him here. Gaz quickly looks around this cloth and finally finds a small transmitter on the back of his collar. Jack attached it when he earlier opened the door and grasped his cloth. Syd is very angry at Gaz for his recklessness. Gaz tries to apologize. Anyway, they now have a bigger problem with Jack.

The thief group begins to charge Jack. Jack takes off, rides down along a conveyor belt, and hits many of them away. Syd aims his gun to Jack, but Jack hits it away by his Wheel of Fortune and lands safely. Jack tells them that their struggle is useless. He has already informed the security about the location of this place. There is nowhere else they can escape.

Syd laughs and accepts that he has already lost as the security was informed and aware of this place. His men are about to move again, but Syd stops them. He asks whether Jack wants to duel him before the force will come. Jack is surprised by such a challenge. Syd explains that this isn't a normal duel and it must be according to his rule.

Syd leads Jack to their duel field on a giant conveyor belt. At the edges of both sides are a dead end where below is a junk pressing device. Syd explains the rule that when life points decrease, conveyor belt will begin to move. If life points are all gone, the loser will fall into the junk pressing device and will become a sandwich. Jack is stunned after hearing a terrible rule. Syd asks what Jack's decision is. He doesn't force him to do it and the former king like him can quit if he is scared.

Syd's words truly provoke Jack. Jack accepts the challenge bravely. Syd and Jack stand on the conveyor belt on the opposite sides. Their legs are locked so that nobody can get away until one side loses. Syd rushes Jack to start the duel and calls him King-San. Both then declare a duel at the same time.

EPISODE SUMMARY - PART 2

1st Turn - Jack

The first turn is with Jack. Drawing a card, he summons [Mad Demon - 4/1800/0: When this higher attack power monster attacks a monster in defense mode with lower defense power, inflict Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to that difference. When this face-up Attack Position card becomes the target of an attack, change it to Defense Position] to the field in attack position. Setting a face-down card, he ends his turn.

2nd Turn - Syd

Assault Wheel
Effect Monster Card

A turn moves to Syd. He draws a card and summons [Assault Wheel - 4/2300/0: During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than this card's ATK, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points. During the end of a Battle Phase in which this card attacked, until your next Standby Phase, this card's ATK becomes 0] to the field in attack position. Jack is stunned by seeing a monster with 2300 ATK summoned in the first play.

Syd moves to battle phase and declares an attack of Assault Wheel toward Mad Demon. He is aware of Mad Demon's monster effect that it will be changed to defense position when it becomes an attack target. Assault Wheel has piercing-damage ability through a defense-position monster. Thus, it destroys Mad Demon and inflicts damage equal to differences to him. Jack's LP drops to 1700 (4000+0-2300).

Syd laughs as Jack's LP drops. The conveyor belt on Jack's side begins to move backward, and Jack gets closer to the dead end. Syd asks how Jack feels by getting closer to the hell by a step. Gaz cheers up and tells Jack to hurry to become a sandwich. Jack argues that his pride of duelist won't be crushed by such a thing. Syd resumes the duel by explaining the monster effect of Assault Wheel. When this card attacks, its ATK becomes 0 until his next standby phase. Setting 2 face-down cards, Nightmare Wheel and Plunder Decoy, Syd ends his turn. He says that if Jack doesn't hurry to counterattack, his life will be gone. Jack says that he doesn't need Syd to tell him so.

3rd Turn - Jack

Drawing a card, Jack activates the monster effect of [Vice Dragon - 5/2000/2400: If there is a monster on your opponent's side of the field, and you do not have a monster on your side of the field, this card can be Special Summoned from your hand. This card's original attack and defense power, when Special Summoned via this effect, is halved] on his hand. When he controls no monster and there is a monster on the opponent's field, he can special summon this card to the field.

Jack thus special summons it to the field in attack position. However, its ATK is halved to 1000 (2000/2) when summoned by this effect. Next, Jack plays [Polymerization ~ Yuugou - Normal Spell: Send Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on a Fusion Monster Card from your hand or your side of the field to the Graveyard, and Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Fusion Deck], fusing [Big Piece Golem - 5/2100/0: When an opponent controls a monster and you have no monster on the field, you can Normal Summon this card without Release] and [Mid Piece Golem - 4/1600/0: When this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or Special Summoned successfully, if you control a face-up "Big Piece Golem", you can Special Summon 1 "Small Piece Golem" from your Deck. The effect of the monster Special Summoned by this effect is negated] on his hand to [Multi Piece Golem - 6/2600/1300: At the end of a Battle Phase when this card battles, you can return this card to the Extra Deck. When this card is returned to the Extra Deck, if all Fusion Material monsters used for the Fusion Summon of this card are in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon all them to your side of the field].

Still in the main phase, Jack normal summons [Intercept Demon - 4/1400/1600: While you control this face-up Defense Position card, each time an opponent's monster attacks, inflict 500 damage to your opponent] to the field in attack position. He moves to battle phase, declaring the first attack by a strike of Multi Piece Golem.

Syd won't let Jack succeed. He opens his face-down trap card [Nightmare Wheel ~ Goumon Sharin - Continuous Trap - Select 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, the selected monster cannot attack or change its battle position. During each of your Standby Phases, this card inflicts 500 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points. When the selected monster is removed from the field, destroy this card]. As long as this trap is on the field, Multi Piece Golem can't attack and change position, neither. In addition, for each of Syd's standby phase, 500 damage will be inflicted to Jack.

Although Multi Piece Golem is sealed, Jack still has other monsters left. He declares the second attack by a strike of Vice Dragon toward Assault Wheel. Syd opens another face-down trap card [Plunder Decoy - Normal Trap: Activate when a monster you control is attacked. Take control of a Level 4 or lower monster your opponent controls, other than the monster that declared an attack], which can be activated when he is attacked.

Intercept Demon
Effect Monster Card
Plunder Decoy
Normal Trap Card

Plunder Decoy allows Syd to take control a monster with level 4 or less Jack controls besides the attacking monster. Syd asks Intercept Demon from Jack. Intercept Demon appears on Syd's field to protect Assault Wheel. Because a number of monsters on Syd's field changes, Vice Dragon stops its strike. Syd laughs as he knows that the monster effect of Intercept Demon is useful. As long as Intercept Demon is on Syd's field, Jack will receive 500 damage each time he declares an attack. Syd smiles and provokes Jack by asking whether Jack doesn't want to attack now. He feels sorry to Jack but he was safe again.

Syd changes a topic by asking how Kazama is and whether he has already been dead. Jack thinks about Kazama in the hospital and yells at Syd. He is very angry and yells at Syd that he can't forgive him for insulting Kazama by any mean. Jack is truly provoked to attack and he has no intention to hold back. He continues the attack of Vice Dragon toward Assault Wheel.

Syd tells him to receive damage from his own monster. Intercept Demon inflicts 500 damage when Jack attacks, so Jack's LP drops to 1200 (1700-500). When his LP drops, the conveyor belt again moves him backward. Syd laughs as Jack is getting closer to the hell. Jack calls that it's the same for Syd. Assault Wheel is destroyed by Vice Dragon, so Syd's LP drops to 3000 (4000+0-1000).

Syd smiles evilly and thinks that Jack is stupid. He is not exactly in the same situation as Jack. At the edge of the conveyor belt on Syd's side, there is a stopper set up before the pressing machine. Jack isn't aware of it. He knows that Syd is praying that the security will become before he is beaten.

Jack ends his turn at this point. Syd laughs and asks whether Jack really thinks that the security is coming for him. That makes Jack a fool. Jack is confused by what Syd means. Meanwhile, Crow, Yusei, Ushio, and Carly are arriving at the seaport. However, they are surprised by seeing nothing. Crow doesn't understand what this means. Yusei is sure that it must be here according to Jack's call.

Ushio gets off his card and says that there used to be a big tanker (A large sea carrier) parking here. Yusei doubts whether it will be a hideout of the thief group. Carly is afraid that there is nothing here. It's clear to them that the tanker has already left the seaport into the ocean. Jack has just realized that this factory is inside a large tanker and currently floating in the sea. Thus, Syd looks very confident as Jack will certainly go to hell. In other words, Jack has way to escape from the tanker.

4th Turn - Syd

It's Syd's turn and he draws a card. In his standby phase, he activates the effect of Nightmare Wheel to inflict 500 damage to Jack. Jack's LP thus drops to 700 (1200-500). The conveyor belt moves back further when his LP drops. Next, Syd summons a tuner monster [Cannon Wheel - 2/500: When this card is used as a Synchro Material Monster, inflict 500 damage to your opponent] to the field in attack position. Jack looks surprised by seeing a tuner monster and can expect what's coming.

Syd tunes Cannon Wheel into Intercept Demon, "Make a bad boom, explosion! Cut the wheel of striking in the wild of cards! Synchro Summon! Roar, Combat Wheel!", he says and synchro summons [Combat Wheel - 6/2500/1200: Activate by discarding 1 card. Until the End Phase, increase this card's ATK by an amount equal to half the total ATK of all other monsters you control. Additionally, your opponent cannot select another card as an attack target. After this effect has been used and this card is destroyed, destroy all monsters you control. You can only use this effect on your opponent's Battle Phase] to the field in attack position.

In addition to the monster effect of Cannon Wheel, it can inflict 500 damage to the opponent when used in a synchro summon. Jack's LP thus drops to 200 (700-500). His conveyor belt moves closer near the edge now. Syd tells Jack that he enjoyed it, but it is time for a farewell. He moves into battle phase, declaring an attack of Combat Wheel toward Vice Dragon.

Jack opens his face-down trap card [Nightmare Demon - Normal Trap: Release 1 monster on your side of the field. Special Summon 3 "Nightmare Demon Tokens" (Fiend-Type/Dark/Level 6/ATK 2000/DEF 2000) to your opponent's side of the field in Attack Position. When a "Nightmare Demon Token" is destroyed, the controller of that Token takes 800 damage] to release Vice Dragon and special summon 3 Nightmare Tokens in attack position on Syd's field . Because Vice Dragon as an attack target is gone by the time it is attacked, battle is cancelled.

In Syd's second main phase, he plays spell card [Block Dugout - Continuous Spell: If the total combined Levels of all monsters you control are higher than the total combined Levels of all monsters your opponent controls, your opponent cannot declare an attack]. According to its effect, when the combined level of all monsters on his field is higher than that on Jack's field, Jack won't be able to declare an attack. Syd thanks Jack for giving 3 Nightmare Tokens to him, which make the total combined level on his field to 24 (6*4: Combat Wheel and 3 Nightmare Tokens). Jack has only Vice Dragon with level 5, so he won't be able to attack as long as Block Dugout is on the field.

5th Turn - Jack

A turn moves to Jack. He draws a card, gets, and summons a tuner monster [Dark Sprocketer - 1/400/0: When this card is sent to the Graveyard to Synchro Summon a Dark Synchro Monster, destroy 1 face-up Magic or Trap card] to the field in attack position. Jack asks Kazama to lend him his power and tunes Dark Sprocketer into Multi Piece Golem. "New and Royal Pulsation! Appear in the chaos! Synchro Summon, High Pride! Demon Chaos King!," he says and synchro summons [Demon Chaos King - 7/2600/2600: When this card attacks, switch the ATK and DEF of your opponent's monsters until the end of the Battle Phase] to the field in attack position.

Because Multi Piece Golem is gone, Nightmare Wheel is destroyed. Jack tells Syd that a consequence isn't just like that. When Dark Sprocketer is used for a synchro summon for a dark synchro monster like Demon Chaos King, it can destroy 1 face-up spell/trap card on the field. Jack selects to destroy a continuous spell, Block Dugout. Without Block Dugout, Syd's wall is all gone.

At this moment, Syd activates the monster effect of Combat Wheel. Discarding one card, Urgent Tuning, from hand to the field, he can increase the ATK of Combat Wheel by a half ATK of each monster he controls. With a thank to 3 Nightmare Tokens given by Jack, the ATK of Combat Wheel goes up to 5500 (2500+2000/2+2000/2+2000/2). At this rate, Jack's monster certainly can't match with and attack.

Jack isn't concerned at all and says that he won't forgive Syd who ridiculed Kazama and took away pride of D-Wheelers (D-Wheel = pride of D-Wheelers). He moves to battle phase and declares an attack of Demon Chaos King toward Combat Wheel. Syd wonders whether the former king has already lost his mind. He thinks that Jack is going to dive himself into hell.

Jack explains the monster effect of Demon Chaos King. When it attacks, it can switch ATK/DEF of an opponent's monster until the end of battle phase. Combat Wheel's ATK thus is switched to 1200. Syd looks very shocked. Demon Chaos King successfully destroys Combat Wheel. Syd's LP drops to 1600 (3000+2600-1200). Jack calls that he hasn't done yet. According to the monster effect of Combat Wheel, all monsters on the field must be destroyed when Combat Wheel is destroyed (This effect works only Combat Wheel's ATK is increased by its own effect).

Thus, 3 Nightmare Tokens on Syd's field must be destroyed and Syd has to receive 800 damage for each token destroyed as a result of Nightmare Demon's effect. Syd is knocked out as his LP drops to 0 immediately (1600-800*3).

Duel End

Jack's lock at his leg is released. The conveyor belt on Syd's side begins to move, taking Syd closer to the garbage pressing machine. Syd isn't worried because he knows that there is a stopper installed at the end of the conveyor belt. However, the stopper is broken, and the conveyor belt keeps moving and pulling Syd down. Syd falls but a lock at his leg still pulls him above the pressing machine. Jack quickly runs into Syd, pulls him up, and gives him a big punch. He drops Syd into the crowd and laughs.

Many securities later follow Jack's trail to the tanker by helicopters. Yusei, Crow, and Carly also come along with them. When the securities approach into the factory inside the tanker, they are surprised by seeing Jack clearing the area alone. Jack has already knocked out everyone here, piling them up. He says that people were very late. Everyone is glad to see him safe, and Jack has a big smile on his face.

Later at the hospital, Jack meets Kazama at the roof along with Ushio, Crow, and Yusei. He gives Demon Chaos King back to Kazama and says that he could win because of it. Kazama is very surprised by that Jack could defeat Syd alone. Jack says that it's because the security is too loose. Ushio doesn't seem satisfied by such a comment.

Kazama asks whether Jack wouldn't mind doing a riding duel with him when he fully recovers. Jack smiles and answers that Jack Atlus will accept his challenge at anytime. Kazama looks at him and also has a big smile. Both hold their hands together as a promise.

To be continued...
