Riding on Neo Domino City's roads, Ushio
feels that he hasn't had a riding duel for a long time since
his last riding duel with Yusei (episode 12). He realizes that
since he met Yusei, his life has significantly changed. He plans
not to rely on Yusei anymore and will show that he can
protect the city's safety by his own hands.
A bike then approaches closer behind Ushio.
Ushio's security Wheel can spot the bike but can't identify
its data. The data on his bike from the Public Security
Maintenance Bureau shows that identity of this D-Wheeler is unknown. This makes Ushio understands
quickly that Ghost has finally appeared for him. Ushio's
monitor also shows that his ride is forced into duel mode.

Speed World 2
Field Spell Card |
Ushio
certainly accepts this challenge and activates field spell [Speed
World 2 - Field Spell: When you play a Magic card other than a
Magic card with "Speed Spell" in its name, you receive
2000 points of damage. Both player's, during their
Standby Phases, place 1 Speed Counter for themselves on
this card. (A maximum of 12 for each player.) By
removing a number of Speed Counter placed from your
Speed World, you can activate one of following effects. 4: Inflict 800 Damage to your opponent for each
"Speed Spell" Card in your hand. 7: Draw 1 card from your deck.
10: Destroy 1 card on the field].
Once Speed World 2 is activated, many
digital signs indicating the duel location, "Duel Lane -
10326A", are lift up on both sides of the highway. An entrance
toward a riding duel driveway is opened for Ushio and Ghost to
get in. Ushio starts a duel by declaring, "Riding Duel,
Acceleration!."

The first turn is with Ushio, and he draws a card. According to the effect of Speed World
2, no
Speed Counter increases in the first turn of the game. Thus,
the number of SPCs is 0 for both. Drawing a card, Ushio
summons a monster [Samurai Sword Baron
- 4/1600] to the field in attack position. He can't
attack in the first turn, so he ends his turn.

The second turn comes to Ghost, and he draws a card. In

Both result in 1 SPC evenly. Ghost summons [Wise
Core - 1/0/0: When this card is sent to the Graveyard by an effect that destroys cards other than this card's effect, destroy all other monsters on
your field, then Special Summon 1 each from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard of "Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity", "Wisel Top", "Wisel Attack", "Wisel Guard", and "Wisel
Carrier"] to the field in defense position.
Setting 2 face-down cards, he ends his turn.

Ushio wonders what Ghost is doing by summoning a monster

The turn is with Ushio, and he draws a card. In

Both result in 2 SPC (1+1) evenly. Ushio then summons a
tuner monster [Jutte
Knight - 2/700/900: Once per turn, you can switch 1 face-up Attack-Position Monster on your opponent controls to Defense Position]
to the field in attack position. He tunes Jutte Knight into
Samurai Sword Baron to call [Goyo

Ushio explains that Goyo Guardian is a powerful monster
that can take a monster it destroys to his field. He plans to arrest Ghost by this monster and declares the attack of Goyo Guardian, "Goyo Lariat!,"
toward Wise Core. At this moment, Ghost opens his face-down
trap card [Negate Attack ~ Kougeki No Muryoku Ka
- Counter Trap: When your opponent attacks with a monster,
negate the attack and make your opponent's Battle Phase end]
to stop the attack of Goyo Guardian and end Ushio's battle
phase.

Sp - Count up
Speed Spell Card |
Ushio gets mad that the attack couldn't go through. Anyway, he believes that high attack power of Goyo
Guardian can't be surpassed easily. Ushio activates speed
spell card [Speed Spell - Count Up
- Normal Spell: You can only activate this card when your Speed Counters are 2 or higher. Send a number of cards from your hand to the Graveyard. For each card sent to the Graveyard by this effect, Increase your Speed Counters by 2].
This spell card requires at least 2 SPCs to be activated.
Ushio has exactly 2 SPCs to satisfy this condition.
Sp - Count Up allows Ushio to send a number of cards from
hand to the graveyard to increase 2 SPCs for each card
sent by this effect. Ushio discards Gorogol to increase his
SPCs from 2 to 4 (2+2). He speeds up when his SPCs increase.
Next, Ushio activates an effect of Speed World 2. He can
remove 4 SPCs to inflict 800 damage points for each speed
spell card he has on hand. There are 2 Speed Spell cards on
Ushio's hand, so Ghost has to take 1600 (800*2) damage
points. Ushio's SPCs drop to 0 (4-4) to activate this effect
when Ghost's LP decreases to 2400 (4000-1600).

Spark Breaker
Normal Trap Card |
Ghost draws a card to run his turn. In
his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added to his and
Ushio's SPC gauges following the effect of Speed World 2.
He results in 3 SPCs (2+1) while Ushio results in 1 SPC
(0+1) respectively. At this moment, Ghost opens his last
face-down trap card [Spark Breaker -
Normal Trap: Activate by selecting monster(s) you control. Destroy
all monsters on the field with the selected monster's name],
which can destroy all monsters on his field. Wise Core is
therefore destroyed.
Ushio gets confused by that Ghost is destroying is own
monster. Ghost activates the monster effect of Wise Core.
When the monster is destroyed by a card's effect, Machine
Emperor and Wisel monsters can be special summoned from hand or deck.
Ghost special summons 5 Machine Emperor monsters to the
field and they create bright light that almost blinds Ushio.
Of them, a monster has a giant infinity sign, level 1, and
2500 ATK. Goyo Guardian is then pulled into the infinity
sign, increasing its attack power by ATK of Goyo Guardian to
5300 (2500+2800).
Note: This monster is Machine Emperor Wisel
Infinity that will fully be revealed later. |
Appearance of this monster is huge in shadow. Ushio is
getting shocked as the big shadow along with the infinity
sign is moving closer to him. He ends up with big scream
before everything goes to silence. Meanwhile, Yusei
developing a new machine alone notices that some noise is
disturbing his computer system and making it unable to work
stably. Ushio's security wheel finally crashes on the sky
riding duel course. The duel appears to end by his defeat.
Note: Ghost's monster has 5300 ATK. Ushio's field
is widely opened because Goyo Guardian has been absorbed to
increase the attack power of Ghost's monster (Its full
effect will be explained later). When Ushio receives 5300
direct hit, his LP goes down to 0 (4000-5300) and he is
defeated in an instance. |

Duel End
Crow has just finished his work late at night, riding
back along the bridge. He looks very tried but is glad that his work today (Blackbird Delivery Service) is finished (As mentioned earlier, Crow appears to work as a delivery to raise funds for Yusei to develop new machines). During his way, he hears siren of
an ambulance coming from a nearby riding duel course. Crow
takes off his glasses and gets surprised by seeing Ushio,
who is in serious injury, on a stretcher. The body of Ushio
is taken into the ambulance. Crow doesn't want to believe it
and follows Ushio to the hospital.
Jack and Yusei hear this bad news and hurry to the
hospital. They meet Mikage and Crow there. Jack asks whether
it's true that Ushio has been taken down. Mikage confirms
that Jack has already got it right. Yusei is more concerned
about Ushio's condition. Crow says that Ushio is in an
emergency medical treatment now.

Then, Ushio who has serious injury appears on a stretcher
as the doctors are about to take him to an operation room.
The doctors ask people to step away, but Yusei would like to
ask Ushio a quick question about what happened. Ushio gives
his last message to Yusei, warning him not to play a Synchro
against Ghost. Yusei looks confused. The doctors don't want
Ushio to talk anymore, quickly taking him into the operation
room. Ushio can no more give any detail.
Jack walked into Mikage and asks her directly why Ushio
approached into this. Mikage is afraid that Ushio
didn't want to rely on Yusei, Jack, and Crow anymore, so he decided to take care of the case by his own. She looks sad because she thinks that it's all her
fault to push him into this. Yusei, Jack, and Crow
can't say anything as they did deny to help Ushio at the beginning.
Yusei, Jack, and Crow come back to their house. Crow hits the poster of WR-GR1 and
blames himself. He thinks that it's all his fault to make Ushio get hurt like this. If he had cooperated with Ushio at that
time, this wouldn't have happened. Yusei stops Crow for
blaming himself as it has already passed. He thinks that if
Ushio was taken down badly like this, Ghost must be a considerable player.

Crow yells and asks whether they should just stay quiet like this. Yusei throws Crow's helmet to him and says that nobody said to stay quiet. Yusei and Jack are
now preparing themselves to take off. Jack
adds that only three of them can catch Ushio's enemy. Yusei and Jack unfold the sheets covering their
D-Wheels. Crow is happy to see his friends' unified decision. He
puts on his helmet and prepares to take off with everyone.
Yusei, Jack, and Crow leave the house late at night and
split up into different ways to capture Ghost on highway. They are
challenging Ghost to appear for them. 3 of them spend
the whole night to find Ghost but haven't seen any sign yet
after riding this far. The sun for a new day is about to
rise. Ghost finally appears to chase after Yusei. Yusei's
computer system is trying to analyze the data of this
mysterious D-Wheeler, but outcome is totally unknown.
This makes Yusei clear that Ghost has already appeared for
him.

Yusei tells Jack and Crow that Ghost has already shown
up. He then sets on [Speed
World 2 - Field Spell: When you play a Magic card other than a
Magic card with "Speed Spell" in its name, you receive
2000 points of damage. Both player's, during their
Standby Phases, place 1 Speed Counter for themselves on

removing a number of Speed Counter placed from your
Speed World, you can activate one of following effects. 4: Inflict 800 Damage to your opponent for each
"Speed Spell" Card in your hand. 7: Draw 1 card from your deck.
10: Destroy 1 card on the field].
Once Speed World 2 is activated, surrounding digital
signs, "Duel-Lane 19247-B," are lift up. Computer voice
from speakers tells public transportation that a riding
duel is about to start, so people should change their lanes.
Yusei declares a duel, "Riding Duel, Acceleration!." Main
computer says, "Lane Selection!," and generates a course of
riding duel. Once a course is selected and authorized, city streets
are lift up and there are digital
signs warning people about the on-going duel and having them proceed to other ways.
Yusei and Ghost ride along the lift-up roads that lead
them into the authorized riding duel course. This is their true
battlefield. Yusei challenges Ghost to start a duel, and the
first turn is given to Ghost.

The turn comes to Yusei, and he draws a card. In

Both result in 1 SPC evenly. Yusei summons [Max
Warrior - 4/1800/800: When this card attacks an opponent's
monster, its ATK increases by 400 during damage calculation
step. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by

attack position.

Labyrinth of Klein
Normal Trap Card |
Yusei declares the attack of Max Warrior toward Wise
Core. By the monster effect of Max Warrior, it gains 400 ATK
when it attacks. Thus, it's ATK now becomes 2200 (1800+400).
At this moment, Ghost opens his face-down trap card [Labyrinth
of Klein ~ Klein No Meikyou - Normal Trap: Activate only when your
opponent's monster declares an attack. Switch the original
ATK and DEF of the attacking monster until the End Phase of
the next turn. In the turn this card is activated, reduce
all Battle Damage you take from your opponent's monsters to
0, and your monsters are not destroyed by battle].
This trap can reduce all battle damage to 0 and protect
Wise Core from being destroyed by battle. Thus, the attack
of Max Warrior is reflected. Ghost also explains the
remaining effect of Labyrinth of Klein that it can switch
the attack and defense power of the attacking until the end
phase of next turn. ATK/DEF of Max Warrior are now switched
to 800/1800 respectively. As Yusei has expected, Ghost is
trying to protect Wise Core for some reason. It makes Yusei
think that Wise Core should be a key card.
In Yusei's second main phase, he special summon [Oneshot
- 1/0/0: If you Normal Summon a monster in this turn, you
can Special Summon this card from your hand. You can Tribute
this card to destroy 1 monster on your opponent's control
that battled 1 of your monsters in this turn] to the
field in attack position. Oneshot can be special summoned to
the field in the turn normal summon is successful (Max
Warrior is normal summoned in this turn to satisfy this
condition of special summon).
With the ability of Oneshot Booster, Yusei can release it
to destroy 1 opponent's monster that battled in this turn.
He uses this effect to destroy Wise Core successfully. Ghost
speeds up to ride near Yusei and says that Yusei has already
fallen into his trap. When Wise Core is destroyed by a
card's effect, all other monsters on his field must be destroyed
and Machine Emperor and Wisel monsters can be special
summoned from hand, deck, or graveyard. 5 monsters special summoned are
listed as follow:
[Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity ~ Kikoutei Wisel Infinity
- 1/0/0: Monsters you control besides this monster cannot attack. This card gains ATK and DEF equal to the total ATK and DEF of all "Wisel",
"Skiel" and "Granel" monsters you control. Once per turn, you can
equip a Synchro Monster your opponent controls as an Equip
Card to this card. This card gains ATK equal to the ATK of
the equipped monster. When this card is destroyed, destroy
all other monsters you control] is special summoned in attack position.
[Wisel Top ~ Wise T (Top) -
1/500/0: Destroy this card if you do not control an
"Infinity" monster] is special summoned in attack position.
[Wisel Attack ~ Wise A (Attack) -
1/1200/0: Destroy this card if you do not control an "Infinity" monster] is special summoned in attack position.
[Wisel Guard ~ Wise G (Guard) -
1/0/1200:Destroy this card if you do not control an "Infinity" monster. When an opponent's monster declares an attack, you can make this card become an attack target instead] is special summoned in defense position.
[Wisel Carrier ~ Wise C (Carrier) -
1/800/600: Destroy this card if you do not control an "Infinity" monster. This card is not destroyed by the card effects of other cards] is special summoned in attack position.
|
Top: Wisel Attack, Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity, Wisel Guard
Bottom: Wisel Top, Wisel Barrier
Effect Monster Card |
Yusei is surprised by that 5 monsters are special
summoned in an instance. Ghost tells him that it's too early
for Yusei to be afraid. He activates the monster's
effect of Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity. Wisel Trop, Wisel
Attack, Wisel Guard, and Wisel Carrier are combined into
Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity. They all become a giant
robot with an infinity sign. This is truly the monster that
earlier took down Ushio. The sun now rises for new morning
along with clear appearance of Machine Emperor Wisel
Infinity with 4 union Wisel parts.
The attack of Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity is equal to the total combined ATK of all monsters equipped with them or 2500 (500+1200+0+800). Giant shadow of Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity is
approaching Yusei. Ghost tells him that a show is about to start now. Yusei is very stunned by such a giant robot.

To be continued...
