Jack was standing on a roof of a building and looking toward Neo Domino City across the sea while Rally was walking into him. It appeared that Jack called Rally to meet him here. Rally asked Jack what Jack wanted him to do. Jack told Rally that he had already decided to leave this place. Rally got excited to how Jack could do that. Jack didn't explain how but said that Rally's help was necessary. Rally was glad to hear that he could be some help. He told Jack that he would do anything that he could for him. Jack replied that he got it. All the time he talked to Rally, he didn't turn his face to him at all.
Yusei was currently checking his D-Wheel while Blitz, Taka, and Nerve were around. Nerve thought that Rally was so late, hoping Rally remember well that there was a running test on Yusei's D-Wheel today. Taka noted that Rally had been around Jack recently, surprising Nerve and Blitz a bit. Yusei stopped Blitz from having negative attitude. It's Rally's free choice to stay with anyone. Blitz understood Yusei's point well but didn't want to agree totally.
Then, a signal from Jack came on screen of Yusei's D-Wheel. Jack told people that Rally had already been kidnapped by someone. Yusei was very shocked. He suggested people split searching for Rally before riding his D-Wheel on. Blitz, Taka, and Nerve were looking for Rally in the market while Yusei was riding into the town. Another signal from Jack then came in. Jack told Yusei that he had already known Rally's place. Therefore, Yusei quickly followed Jack's direction and met him at the sea.
Yusei took his helmet off and asked Jack where Rally was. Jack pointed to the sea and told Yusei to look there. Rally appeared to be on a little boat, having been tied by ropes. Jack explained that, at this rate, Rally would be swept and overthrown by the sea, and finally would be finished off. Yusei was more curious about how Rally could be there. Jack turned to Yusei and revealed the truth that he was the one who set this up. Earlier, when Rally told that he would do anything he could do to help Jack, Jack walked to Rally and knocked him out.
Yusei looked surprised by what Jack had done. Jack told the story that he had got invitation from the city, and the tickets were his Red Demon's Dragon and Yusei's Stardust Dragon. 2 cards had to be collected in order to enter the city. Jack told Yusei that they could settle up this by a match, but Rally's boat might disappear during the time they dueled. He actually forced Yusei to choose. Yusei looked very mad at Jack before making a decision quickly. He took off his jacket and jumped into the sea. It's Yusei's answer.

Jack |
Look there! |
Yusei |
Rally? |
Jack |
At this rate, he will be swept up by the sea. If the storm overthrows, he will be done. |
Yusei |
How can Rally be there? |
Jack |
I will tell you the truth. I did it. |
| Rally |
If there is something I can do, I will do it. |
Jack |
I see. |
Yusei |
Jack |
Jack |
I got invitation from the city. The tickets to the city are my Red Demon's and your Stardust. |
Yusei |
What? |
Jack |
2 cards must be collected to go to the city. What will it be? If I am going to settle down this with you now, his boat will disappear into the waves. Then? |
While Yusei swimming into the sea to save Rally, Jack picked up Yusei's deck box and took out Stardust Dragon card. Jack dropped the box onto the ground, stole Yusei's D-Wheel, and rode on. The wave finally overthrew the boat, and Rally fell into the sea. Because he was tied up, he couldn't swim. Yusei caught Rally in the sea in time and finally saved him. At the same time, Jack was riding Yusei's D-Wheel along the pipeline that stopped discharging garbage for an hour. The destination of this pipeline was Neo Domino City.
After saving Rally, Yusei saw his deck box left on the floor. He took it up and realized that Jack had already took his Stardust Dragon card. Rally gave Yusei his jacket and apologized him. Yusei didn't blame Rally at all and tapped nicely on his back. At that time, Jack realized that Yusei didn't select the card but friend. He on the other hand chose the different path from Yusei to become the king.
This whole story doesn't matter to Jack now. Jack turns back to Godwin and tells him to release all hostages now. He is convinced by that Yusei isn't going to run away, and he doesn't have to be shackled when he fights him. Jack hopes that this can be at least what Godwin can pay back as a reward for a clown. Godwin is fine with that if it's the king's will.
At Satellite, Blitz, Rally, Taka, and Nerve are eventually released. When the door is unlocked, they push it out and find that they have been confined in a container not far from Satellite factory. There is a small television nearby, and it is broadcasting the final match of Duel Fortune Cup. Blitz, Rally, Taka, and Nerve look at the TV and become very surprised by seeing the match between Jack and Yusei. MC is announcing that Duel Fortune Cup will be resumed despite of some unexpected accident. Blitz, Rally, Taka, and Nerve don't understand what's going on, and they all notice a criminal marker on Yusei's left cheek. This marker at least makes them believe that something had to happen to Yusei.

Yusei is riding to stop at the starting point. Himuro realizes that Yusei is serious to go through the final match with Jack. The picture of Blitz, Rally, Taka, and Nerve appearing on Yusei's screen to convince him that they have been released already and safe. Jack then talks to Yusei on screen that there is nobody in their way now. He hopes that Yusei can fully fight without concern as an excuse.
Jack is preparing himself on the back stage, and Mikage is with him. As she is giving him a helmet, she says that although there are many things she doesn't understand, she always believes that Jack is the true king. Jack replies shortly that it's what has been known. Meanwhile, Godwin and Jaeger are together on the observation tower for the final game. Divine then walks into the stadium as he hopes to see the power of the legendary crimson dragon.
The stadium is widely damaged, but the final game is still resumed. Both Jack and Yusei are now ready at their starting points. Jack tells Yusei to have this game settle down who deserves to be the true king. Yusei is more concerned by that the crimson dragon is going to show up again, but Jack argues whether Yusei is scared of it. If that time really comes, Jack just wants to make the power of the crimson dragon become his own strength.
Yusei looks at his right arm and reminds of what Yanagi has told him. There are actually 5 dragon's birthmarks. To think about it now, Yusei doubts whether the last Signer has been somewhere around here. There is no time for him to pursue this issue as MC declares to let them set up Speed World. The field spell is set on. "Duel Mode: Auto Pilot. Standby!", the D-Wheel's computerized voice says, as the duel system from the two D-Wheels change the duel stadium into a speed stadium.
MC reminds the audiences that the field is now dominated by Speed World; therefore, only Speed Spell cards can be played on this field. He counts down and says, "Ready! Riding Duel! Acceleration!!", to start the game. Both Yusei and Jack take off together among the big cheer. Yusei as a challenger is riding after Jack. Jack tells Yusei to start as the first turn is with the challenger.

Shield Wing
Monster Card |
1st Turn - Yusei
The first turn is with Yusei. According to the effect of Speed World, no Speed Counter increases in the first turn of the game. Thus, the number of SPCs is 0 on both sides. Drawing a card, Yusei summons [Shield Wing - 2/0/900:This card cannot be destroyed by battle up to 2 times in one turn (damage calculation is applied normally)] onto the field in defense position. Setting 2 face-down cards, he ends his turn.

Twin Breaker
Monster Card |
The turn moves to Jack. In his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added into his and Yusei's SPC gauges following by the effect of Speed World. Both result in 1 SPC evenly. Jack draws a card and summons [Twin Breaker - 4/1600/1000: If this card attacks a monster in defense mode, it can attack one more time following that. When this card attacks a monster in defense mode and its defense power is greater than this card's attack power, inflict Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the difference] onto the field in attack position.
At once, Jack declares the attack of Twin Breaker toward Shield Wing. Twin Breaker has a trample effect. In case it attacks a monster in defense position and its DEF power is lower than Twin Breaker's ATK, damage equal to the differences will be inflicted to the opponent. With the strike of Twin Breaker toward Shield Wing, Yusei's LP decreases to 3300 (4000+900-1600).
Jack tells Yusei that he has already predicted that Yusei would summon a defense monster. The duel of the king must be ahead of the opponent by a step. Anyway, Yusei activates the special effect of Shield Wing that this monster can't be destroyed in battle up to 2 times per turn. Although he loses some LP, Shield Wing still exists. Jack says that Yusei is such a fool. Twin Breaker has another special that when it attacks a monster in defense position, it can attack it once more time.
Jack says that the king of the kings like him always steps ahead. He declares the second attack of Twin Breaker to destroy Shield Wing. With the trample effect, Yusei again receives the same damage and his LP goes down to 2600 (3300+900-1600). Setting up a face-down card, Jack ends his turn. He looks at the cards on his hand, and they are Dark Repairer, Tuner's Mind, Speed Spell - Over Boost, and Speed Spell - The End of Storm. He has already seen the card that suits to settle down this match. Jack declares that he will show Yusei the pride of the king.
Note1: Speed Spell - The End of Storm is the key card that Jack tried to settle down his game with Yusei in episode 5.
Note2: According to the effect of Speed World, 1 SPC decreases only when a player loses 1000 damage points at a time for a strike. Yusei receives 700 damage points (1600-900) twice and doesn't receive more than 1000 damage points at a time. Thus, he doesn't lose and Speed Counter.

The turn comes back to Yusei. In his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added into his and Jack's SPC gauges following by the effect of Speed World. Both result in 2 SPC evenly. He draws a card and gets Meteor Stream. Yusei doubts by what his cards actually desire by responding to him with this card.
Note: Similar to Jack, Yusei has the key card, Meteor Stream, that could make him win over Jack in episode 5. It's their final play, Meteor Stream VS Speed Spell - The End of Storm, and the game ended by the victory of Yusei. Because Jack has already had Speed Spell - The End of Storm on his hand, Yusei's deck responds by letting him get Meteor Stream.
Yusei summons [Junk Synchron - 3/1500/500: When this card is successfully Normal
Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower monster
in your Graveyard in face-up defense mode. Any effects of an
Effect Monster Special Summoned by this effect are negated]. He then tunes Junk Synchron into Shield Wing.
"Clustering stars will call upon a new force! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon!", Yusei declares before synchro summoning [Junk Warrior - 5/2300/1300: When this card is Synchro Summoned, this card's attack
power is increased by the total of the attack power of
all Level 2 or lower monsters face-up on your side of
the field] onto the field in attack position.
Note: A Synchro Summon is a new combination between a Tuner and non-Tuner monster. In order to perform a Synchro Summon, the levels of the Tuner and non-Tuner monsters must add up to be the exact level of the desired Synchro monster (no more, no less). Once that is satisfied, the two monsters are sent to the Cemetery, and the Synchro monster can be summoned from the Extra Deck. In this case, Junk Synchron (Tuner Monster) has 3 stars while Shield Wing (Non-Tuner Monster) has 2 stars. Their stars are added up to 5 (3+2), the star level of Junk Warrior (Synchron Monster) exactly.

Synchro Blast
Trap Card |
Yusei declares the attack of Junk Warrior to destroy Twin Breaker. This strike reduces Jack's LP to 3300 (4000+1600-2300). Yusei next opens his face-down permanent trap card [Synchro Blast - Permanent Trap: When a Synchro monster on your side of the field attacks an opposing monster, inflict 500 points of damage to the opposing player]. According to its effect, when a Synchro Monster attacks an opposing monster, the opponent must receive 500 damage points. Junk Warrior has just attacked and destroyed Twin Breaker, so Jack has to receive additional 500 damage points. His LP decreases to 2800 (3300-500). Jack is impressed by that Yusei seems to make it well.
Note: Again as a reminder, according to the effect of Speed World, 1 SPC decreases only when a player loses 1000 damage points at a time for a strike. Jack receives 700 damage points (1600-2300) and 500 damage points from the effect of Synchro Blast, so he doesn't receive more than 1000 damage points at a time. Thus, he doesn't lose and Speed Counter.

The turn is now with Jack. In his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added into his and Yusei's SPC gauges following by the effect of Speed World. Both result in 3 SPC evenly. Drawing a card, Jack summons a tuner monster [Dark Repairer - 3/1000/1300: When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can draw 1 card] from his hand onto the field in attack position. Jack continues by opening his face-down trap card [Boosting Resurrection ~ Kyouka Sosei - Permanent Trap: Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster in your Cemetery and equip this card to it. The equipped monster has its attack and defense power increased by 100 points and its level upgraded by 1. When this card is removed from the field, destroy the equipped monster. During each of your Standby Phases, the controller of this card receives 1000 points of damage].

Dark Repairer
Tuner Monster Card |
Boosting Resurrection
Trap Card
|
The trap can call back a monster from the cemetery and become its equipment card. Thus, Jack special summons Twin Breaker back from the graveyard and equips it with Boosting Resurrection. Himuro is glad to see that Jack is unable to do synchro summon to call Red Demon's Dragon. The condition of synchro summon is that the combined level of the material monsters must be exactly the same as the level of the synchro monster. In this case, Dark Repairer has level 3 while Twin Breaker has level 4. Their combined level is 7 (3+4), which isn't equal to level 8 of Red Demon's Dragon.
What Himuro isn't aware is the remaining effect of Boosting Resurrection equipped with Twin Breaker. It can increase DEF power of Twin Breaker by 100 or to 1700 (1600+100), and also increase its level by 1. Thus, Twin Breaker currently has level 5 (4+1). Everyone is very shocked. Jack hopes that common people should keep the three-step-ahead duel of the king of the kings in their minds (Jack wants to say that his king-duel type is 3 steps beyond common people's imagination).
All elements have been ready. Jack declares to tune Dark Repairer into Twin Breaker, synchro summoning his soul, [Red Demon's Dragon - 8/3000/2000: When this card attacks a Defense Position monster your
opponent controls, after Damage Calculation, destroy all Defense Position
monster your opponent controls. If this card is face-up during your End-Phase,
destroy all monsters you control that didn't declare an attack this turn except
this card], onto the field in attack position.
In this case, Twin Breaker (Non-Tuner Monster) has 5 stars with 1 star added by the effect of Boosting Resurrection while Dark Repairer (Tuner Monster) has 3 stars. Their stars are added up to 8 (5+3), the star level of Red Demon's Dragon (Synchron Monster) exactly.
As Yusei is looking surprised, Jack is reminding himself of the date when he lured Yusei to save Rally in order to steal his Stardust Dragon card and D-Wheel. On that day, Jack threw everything away to crawl from the depths of the world and pursue the path of the king. Whatever he gave up was hometown and friends as guided by the dragon's birthmark on his arm. Now, Jack is looking at Yusei who is following the same path to the king without giving up anything. It's what Jack can't stand, so he can't afford to be defeated by Yusei.

To be continued...
