[Yu Gi Oh 5D'S Rental DVD 19]

Last week, Yu Gi Oh 5D'S new rental DVD 19 was released. It contains episode 73-76 (Janime appeared to forget to update this).

[5D'S Manga - Episode 6 Summary] has been released along with Jack's and Yusei's deck list update. I didn't understand the true meaning of this episode's title until I finished summarizing it. It is an interesting story how Jack reveals his attitude and compares weak people to a shackle or a chain. I recommend you understand so that you know how Jack's character in manga is different from anime ne ^__^.

[5D'S Episode 92] was released. As earlier mentioned, we spent a lot of time to figure out an error and note unreasonable duel content in this episode, which didn't make much sense to me when I first read it. It took us some time, but we finally got a complete summary. Thanks a lot for the team who worked hard to wrap it up.

Also, we have just released our card translating from the new episode. It's very confusing to translate Mizoguchi's cards without understanding his characters and roles. With a lot of help from the forum members and our team, we could come up with the final list of his card names and effects, which should truly match his role play now.

I am working with our team on 5D's manga summary and scans, which should be our next update this week.

[5D'S Episode 91] was released. Actually, we should have released it along with episode 92 for weeks. We have had a lot of discussion and research on episode 91-92. We found that a duel seems little complicate, card effects are unclear and don't respond to dialog, and even some errors are noted. We took a lot of time to review the whole duel play along with character dialog and card effects as much as we could. I hope that the summary makes much more sense now. I have the last review for episode 92 as we found some clear errors in duel contents. I will have our team release it soon once it's done.

[5D'S Episode 90] was done by Janime. Sorry that we didn't release Janime's work left for us over the new year.

[5D'S Episode 89] has been done. I am trying to finish this Western arc before going back to complete other missing episodes. It took a while to review the whole summary, but all contents should be now correct ^_^.

[5D'S Manga - Episode 5 Summary] has been done. The card list of Jack and Yusei have been updated as well. It's difficult to verify correct contents on RPG-like cards. We try to assume possibility of effects based on OCG as much as we can. What bugs me is that Jack's and Yusei's relationship in manga seems much different from that in anime. We appear to have a whole new story or a new page of 5D's in manga.

[5D'S Episode 87] & [5D'S Episode 88] have been done. I am chasing up what we are still missing. Anime seems to continue Western dueling for a while after year end. There will be no Yu Gi Oh next week due to New Year holidays in Japan. I hope you all have wonderful X'mas and Happy New Year as well ^_^.

[Yu Gi Oh 5D'S Sound Duel 2]

The second official soundtrack of Yu Gi Oh 5D's has been released after the first cancellation that upset many people a couple months ago. It comes back with 2 discs in an album, adding more tracks that include a complete set of Season I soundtracks. The album is available now only in the Trophy forum.

[5D'S Manga - Episode 5 JP Raw Scan] has been released in the forum. It's the starting point of the duel between Jack and Yusei, and there isn't much story. I should be able to release the summary and card list by tomorrow then.

Sorry for leaving so long due to the web site moving and family issue. My team will be away for their vacation, so I will be in charge of the whole update until the end of the year. I realize that our team has left a lot of work on the table but I will try to catch up as much as I can. 5D's manga scans for episode 5 should come this week as usual. I will announce once the scans are released by our team or Cindy.

[Yu Gi Oh 5D'S DVD Boxset 6]

The official Japanese DVD Boxset 6 was released on 12/16/09. It contains episode 61-72, which cover the end of Season I and the initial battle of Season II against Machine Emperor.

[Yu Gi Oh 5D'S Rental DVD 18]

On the same date of 12/16/2009, Yu Gi Oh 5D'S new rental DVD 18 was released. It contains episode 69-72, which catch up with the episodes in the DVD Boxset 6.

[Yu Gi Oh 5D'S Sound Duel 2]

Coming this week on 12/23/2009 is also release of 5D'S Sound Duel 2, an official soundtrack album. Please keep tracking for release in the forum or I may announce otherwise.

On the same date of 9/16/2009, Yu Gi Oh 5D'S new rental DVD 15 will be released. It contains episode 57-60, which catches up with the episodes in the DVD Boxset 5.

[Yu Gi Oh 5D'S Opening 3 - Freedom by La-Vie - Full CD Version]

The single CD, Freedom, the opening 3 of Yu Gi Oh 5D'S is now released. It might be late as I just returned from my vacation. See for further release in our [Janime Trophy's Forum]. In addition, this album also contains a bonus song, [You say...Ashita E] or [You say...At Tomorrow], played in [Episode 72]. As a normal rule, the release will be opened for public only for a couple weeks. Please make sure you get anything there before it's removed to a restricted area.

I have just returned and shouldn't have any further vacation until the end of the year. Our update schedule should be normal from now on.

[5D'S Episode 72 Summary] has been done and released. Thanks Janime and the team for reviewing the whole content should be pretty much correct now.

Regarding 5D's Manga, Janime confirms that there will be no English Scan coming from our site as Horoko with TnKP should be doing this work. TnKP normally works on quality English Scans and good translation. Thus, please wait for their good work to be released soon. They are working on episode 1 now and should be done pretty soon. Janime may release a summary later this week.

[Yu Gi Oh 5D'S Rental DVD 14]

Yu Gi Oh 5D'S rental DVD 14 is now released. It comes with episode 53-56, which mainly covers the battle between Bommer turned into a Dark Signer and Crow.

This is the last reminder for Yu Gi Oh 5D'S ending 3 album of Vistlip currently opened for download at [Janime Trophy's Forum]. The thread will be opened until the end of August, and we will move it to the restricted area. There will be no more request for the public release, so please hurry to get them as soon as you can before it's moved.

There are some questions coming in about a new song broadcasted as a soundtrack in [Yu Gi Oh 5D'S Episode 72] this week. To announce officially, the song name is [You say...Ashita E] or [You say...At Tomorrow] vocaled by La-Vie. The song is included in the single album of the main opening song, Freedom, which is going to be released on 9/2/2009. It isn't something very new, and we can look forward to a full version of it when the CD is released in the next couple weeks.

We are going to combine all episodes in the first year of Yu Gi Oh 5D's to be the first season and any episode starting from July 2009 to be the second season.
